Our Factory
Manufacturing Excellence
State-of-the-art tile manufacturing in the heart of Morbi, Gujarat — combining advanced kiln technology, precision pressing and rigorous quality control to produce tiles that meet and exceed global standards.
World-Class Infrastructure
Built for Precision & Scale
THEVID CERAMICA's manufacturing plant is equipped with modern European-standard machinery — from high-pressure hydraulic presses to roller kilns operating at temperatures exceeding 1,200°C. This infrastructure allows us to achieve dimensional consistency, surface quality and physical properties that rival the world's leading tile brands.
Our plant in Morbi benefits from proximity to Gujarat's rich mineral deposits — the primary raw material for premium ceramic and porcelain tile production. Combined with a highly skilled local workforce and optimized logistics, we deliver exceptional quality at competitive manufacturing costs.
Every production run is tracked from raw material to finished pallet — ensuring complete traceability, consistent batches and the ability to reproduce any design or finish for repeat orders.
How We Make Tiles
The Manufacturing Process
From raw mineral to certified finished tile — every step is precision-engineered.
Raw Material Selection
Premium silica, feldspar, kaolin and clay are sourced from Gujarat's certified mineral deposits. Each batch is tested for purity and composition before entering the production line.
Mixing & Granulation
Raw materials are precisely weighed and mixed in industrial ball mills into a fine powder slurry. The mixture is then spray-dried to create uniform granules — the foundation of consistent tile density.
Hydraulic Pressing
The granulated body is pressed at up to 450 kg/cm² using high-tonnage hydraulic presses — creating dense, dimensionally accurate tile blanks. This pressure determines the final tile's strength and flatness.
Drying
Pressed tile blanks pass through industrial tunnel dryers to remove residual moisture before glazing. Temperature and humidity are precisely controlled to prevent warpage or cracking.
Glaze Application
Multiple layers of premium glaze are applied using advanced digital inkjet printing technology. This allows reproduction of complex marble, stone and wood patterns with photographic accuracy.
Kiln Firing
Tiles travel through 100+ metre roller kilns at peak temperatures of 1,200–1,250°C. This vitrification process fuses the body and glaze into a single, ultra-dense material with superior hardness.
Sorting & Grading
After cooling, every tile is inspected and graded by both automated optical systems and trained quality inspectors. Only tiles meeting our grade standards are passed for packing.
Packing & Dispatch
Approved tiles are packed in double-corrugated boxes with foam inserts, palletized on ISPM-15 certified heat-treated wooden pallets and dispatched from our Morbi factory.
Equipment & Technology
Advanced Technology
Digital Inkjet Printing
High-resolution digital inkjet glaze printing reproduces complex marble, stone and wood surface patterns with exceptional detail and color consistency batch after batch.
Roller Kiln Technology
European-design roller kilns with precision temperature zoning ensure uniform vitrification across every tile — eliminating warpage and ensuring consistent color and hardness.
High-Pressure Pressing
Hydraulic presses at 400–450 kg/cm² produce tile blanks with exceptional density and dimensional accuracy — critical for large-format tiles and porcelain slabs.
Automated Optical Inspection
Computer-vision optical inspection systems scan every tile for surface defects, dimensional deviation and color consistency — complementing our manual QC team.
In-House Testing Lab
On-site testing laboratory conducts daily verification of water absorption, breaking strength, slip resistance, dimensional tolerance and surface abrasion per ISO standards.
Production Tracking
End-to-end batch tracking from raw material intake to dispatch — ensuring full traceability, consistent repeatability for re-orders and rapid response to quality queries.
